No, SCHEME-C is a Competence Attainment process enabling operatives to demonstrate their level of competence in Electrical Safety.
SCHEME-C competence is measured against and industry agreed competency matrix and authorisation standard. The process is structured to encompass standard Electrical and Mechanical Safety Rules, Wind Turbine Safety Rules and Wind Turbine System Safety Rules.
On successful completion of the SCHEME-C assessments, you will attain SCHEME-C accreditation. Your employer can use that accreditation to issue you and authorisation or o accelerate you through their authorisation process.
